Volunteer
There is always a need for men with strong recovery to serve as sponsors and mentors to the men residing at Heartland House and at our sober living/continuing care units. We especially welcome alumni. Your stories and your leadership can bring hope to men fighting each day to stay clean and sober.
If you’re interested in volunteering we encourage you to attend any of the meetings that take place weekly at Heartland House. You can find them listed on our Residents & Alumni page.

Our mission is to serve men recovering from substance use disorder and related co-occurring conditions. Our overall goals are to provide a living environment conducive to continued recovery, conduct an educational program that helps the newly recovering alcoholic/addict establish a long-term support system, and generate attitudes that enhance self-sufficiency, self-worth and an ongoing quality of life.
